This 4-Year Extra Anejo is loaded with spices that gives way to bakery flavors of nutmeg, allspice, caramelized roasted agave and rich vanilla. The rich body coats the palate with agave oils followed by balanced notes of pepper, smoke, wood and tobacco. The crisp and sublime finish with subtle earth tones from French-Oak barrel aging and a medium toast from baking the agave to prime caramelization. It lends a Scotch note midway on the palate.
